An outstanding 5-star holiday home in the heart of the Highlands, in lovely Inverness.

An outstanding 5-star holiday home in the heart of the Highlands, in lovely Inverness.

A luxurious and welcoming Highland hideaway, Wee Ness Lodge is a Western Red Cedar Clad Lodge nestled in an idyllic setting amongst mature trees overlooking the River Ness.
Despite the feeling of tranquillity, this unique property is situated moments from Inverness city centre. Flooded with natural light, Wee Ness Lodge’s luxurious interior is decked out in natural materials and fabrics influenced by the Highland landscape.
Upon arrival the owners give such a warm welcome and the service and guidance on hand if you need it is second to none.
You will also quickly discover one of the best guest welcome packs in Scotland.
You can gaze out from Wee Ness Lodge and become transfixed with the setting – it’s a sublime spot. But the location isn’t just special for its natural beauty, it’s also unrivalled thanks to its proximity to the centre of Inverness.
Location, location, location wins as we all know, but luckily the standard of accommodation is as luxurious as it comes in Wee Ness Lodge as well. Upon entering, after passing the handmade wooden gin table and stepping across the decking, there’s an open-plan living/kitchen/dining space that’s honestly amazing. The well-equipped kitchen features a vaulted ceiling with natural light pouring in from its triple aspect outlook, with a wood burner taking centre stage. Here, the view out to the river is just stunning. From the open-plan living space there is a ladder leading up to a mezzanine snug area, and on the ground floor there’s a door leading from the open-plan space to the king size double bedroom, with additional TV and the en-suite shower room with double rainfall shower and complimentary Neal’s Yard toiletries.
Wee Ness Lodge is truly an excellent base for those looking to explore the Highlands. Being in the city though gives you the opportunity to enjoy walking to and from café to bar to restaurant and lots of shops as well, also Inverness Cathedral, Castle, Museum and Art Gallery are worth a visit.
Further along the river at Inverness Marina you can hop on a dolphin watching boat (resident bottlenose dolphins live in the Moray and Beauly Firths which the River Ness flows into).
In Inverness you’re in the thick of the Highlands so you can head out of the city and discover new parts of this amazing part of the world, heading north to explore the NC500, the Black Isle, or travel east to see the Moray Coastline. The Cairngorms National Park is only thirty minutes to the south.
Travelling west you have Loch Ness only a few miles away as well as the west coast village of Ullapool 1 hour away and Isle of Skye just over 2 hours’ drive.
