The ethos created at Mid Balchandy Cottage has simply been continued at The Bothy, with the top priority being guests’ complete satisfaction and comfort. The accommodation is single-storey and offers an entrance lobby, bedroom, bathroom and integrated living/dining room/kitchen.The property has a fantastic view to the south, framed by the Strathtay Hills and a panoramic view up the glen towards Strathtummel and the town of Pitlochry just 2½ miles away. The renovated accommodation provides a contemporary, cosy and inviting holiday venue specifically designed for a couple. The Bothy (ref UKC1651) is a stylish, conversion of a former cart shed and hayloft, with a light-flooded interior and cathedral ceiling. Quality and comfort are the bywords, with Amtico flooring, contemporary artworks and iconic lighting. A beautiful kitchen area with integrated appliances and solid wood worktops, a shower room with fitted units and a cosy bedroom with super kingsize bed. The Bothy enjoys a southerly aspect, having breathtaking views, with the River Tummel below glimpsed through the trees against the backdrop of rolling hills. Electric, digital heating maintains a snug environment, with underfloor heating in the shower room, as well as a wood burner set in a Caithness slate hearth - bliss on a cold winter’s evening! Great attention has been paid to the lighting and fittings which create a contemporary finish, coupled with original paintings and etchings by well-known artists, top quality textiles, flat screen television and BT internet. The Bothy can rented for a minimum of three nights, with adjacent parking for one car. Towels, bathrobes and slippers are provided along with toiletries by Arran Aromatics. A generous welcome pack is included, with tea, a variety of Nespresso capsules and freshly ground coffee, milk, eggs, bread, butter, croissants, homemade marmalade, wine and a few extra treats! Logs and firelighters are provided for the wood burner with subsequent supplies charged at cost.Your stay at The Bothy can be tailored to your requirements.
