I can’t say enough nice things about this place! It was spotless when we arrived and the welcome pack was amazing, had everything we could possibly need after 7 hours on the road. The owners were close by and were always pleasant but kept out of the way - I’m sure they would have been happy to help had we had any issues. It was just a short walk to the Loch and the local shop was only about 5-10 minutes walk. It was up a steep hill so those with mobility issues may struggle to walk from the cottage to the Loch but it was fine for us with a buggy. It was nice and warm and we didn’t need to use the log fire. The second bedroom was accessed via the main bedroom up some wooden stairs with no door at the top so the children slept downstairs in the main bedroom for safety - it wasn’t an issue for us but something to bear in mind when booking. There are some houses being built opposite which caused minimal noise and inconvenience to us, we have kids so never expect to go somewhere and it be peaceful and quiet but again bear this in mind if it would bother you before booking. We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it as it was cosy, clean and in a great location for visiting Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and would definitely stay again.
